Fellowships

The Himsagar Fellowship is a unique 6 month travel & learn opportunity for professionals & recent graduates.  Our fellows travel far and wide to meet local organizations in remote parts of the country and convince them to use technology they have never used before - Creating a voice for communities that have never been heard before.A fellow typically travels to 3 states during his 6 month stint and meets with non profits - onboarding them to our SocialCops for Non-Profits program.

What We Look For

  • Strong Communicators: Your role revolves a lot around conversations. There are going to be days when you might meet ten different organizations one after the other. The more comfortable you are at communication, the better. If you know your Hindi just as well as your English, it would be the cherry on top.
  • Relationship Builders: In this role, your success will be defined by the relationships you build with those you meet. From the grass root workers to the CEOs, you should be able to adapt yourself to develop strong relationships. At the end of the day, YOU are the ambassador of our work.
  • Smart Travellers: You will travel from cities to tier II & tier III towns. You might have to bunk with local family in villages or stay in basic lodges. Your journey will be as ardous as it will be enlightening. We'd like you to be someone who enjoys traveling and know your hacks around budget travel.
