As a resident entrepreneur at SocialCops, you will be responsible for building our business verticals. We are looking for passionate & ambitious souls - with the dream of building a billion dollar businesses.

We don't fit our resident entrepreneurs into a role - and instead we fit our roles to the entrepreneur. Are you better at lead acquisition & do you thrive on meeting new people? We'll fit your role to allow you to spend 80% of your time doing what you love. Do you prefer converting existing leads into customers - you get a high from closing partners? You can become our consultative sales expert. Are you passionate about particular sectors or verticals? Corporates? Non-profits? Government? Education? Policy? We'll fit your role to accomodate what you love doing.

What you'll be be responsible for 

• Research, prospect and establish leads for corporate relationships followed by an introductory needs analysis/discovery meeting utilizing a consultative sales approach.
• Prepare and present proposals to corporate decision makers.

• Manage accounts and exceed targets relating to revenue growth, activities, profit margin, mix of products and services sales, customer retention and customer acquisition

• Develop effective working relationships with customers through regular meetings and identify and obtain further sales and business development opportunities

• Sell what? Our products improve the entire data management process in organizations by providing android based tools for field data collection & monitoring, internal data management, search and comparisons to public data and finally, dashboards to drive decision making.
• To whom? Enteprise clients. Large scale nonprofits, UN bodies, Corporates working in FMCG, Pharma, infrastructure & smart cities spaces, Foundations, CSR implementers.
• We also have some specific programs for our resident entrepreneurs to run: SocialCops for Nonprofits & SocialCops for Education 

What we expect of you 

• You are a perfectionist & can't sleep without delivering quality work. You stay up for an extra hour post midnight to perfect that presentation - the design, the colors, the icon & the test.
• You are an excellent communicator, writer & speaker
• You thrive in high pressure situations & set agressive targets for yourself and your team
• You have an analytical & become a trusted advisor to clients - naturally
• You are detail oriented and creative
• You have a burning desire to succeed. 
• Nice to have: 2-3 years experience in professional work environments relevant to the vertical you're hoping to lead at SocialCops ;)
